Our story began as Knapp Smart Home LLC, with a broader focus on residential electrical work. In 2026, the same California company became The Standard Electric & Power Company, LLC—a name that reflects a more focused direction in home standby power and ongoing generator care.
That focus grew from hands-on experience with electrical panels, automatic transfer equipment, generator installations, load management and troubleshooting. It reinforced a simple principle: a dependable backup plan considers the whole system, from the home's real power needs to the equipment, fuel supply and care required over time.
